WELCOME

TO THE

AMERIKICK INTERNATIONALS

Welcome To The Amerikick Internationals

You are cordially invited to the AmeriKick Internationals Karate Championships on Friday and Saturday, March 22-24, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.  We are excited to announce our new venue to the Internationals will be the Temple University Liacouras Center.  This state of the art sports arena is home to the Temple Owls Basketball Team and also plays host to music concerts and national dance and gymnastics competitions.  The Liacouras Center is conveniently located 2 miles from the official tournament hotel, the Marriott Hotel Downtown.

In 2008 “The AmeriKick Internationals” and “The Tornado Internationals” merged their combined years of tournament promotions and raised the bar, yet again, to bring their competitors excellence in sport martial arts competition. This event is becoming widely known as the “competitor’s tournament”.

AmeriKick is proud to be a part of NASKA (North American Sport Karate Association), WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organization) and the Open World Tour.  Amerikick is also sanctioned by  the Pro-Am Sport Karate Circuit and the AKL (AmeriKick Karate League.) AmeriKick is home to the Tricks Battle, Weapons Battle, Traditional Forms Challenge, and the highly competitive Open Weight Black Belt Sparring Divisions. Last years Open Weight Sparring Challenge raised the bar even higher in the black belt sparring category with 30 of the best sport karate fighters in the world.

2015 and 2016’s Championship Finals was broadcast on the Comcast Sports Networks to millions of viewers highlighting the Top Sport Karate players in the world.  The top rated forms and weapons competitors in the world like Cole Presley, Reid Presley, Derek Meegan and Sammie Smith were featured in the broadcast along with the top Sport Karate fighters Dean Barry, Ross Levine and Jack Felton.  Who will win the coveted Crystal Cup and win thousands of dollars in prize money this year?

The Internationals will once again host several events over the tournament weekend.  There will be an officials training on Thursday followed by a catered dinner for those officials.  Back again will be the Business Bootcamp seminars on Thursday.  These are great seminars for school owners presented by some of the top school owners and mangers.  The 3rd annual Kenpo Legacy Camp will return again Sunday morning with world class instructors and grandmasters.

Philadelphia is the most historic city on our country.  Make a lifetime memories by experiencing the Constitution Center, the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. When the day turns to night you will enjoy a vibrant night life on South Street, Pennslanding and Olde City.  You can also shop at the many stores in the area, eat at a variety of authentic and eclectic restaurants and enjoy a fun filled weekend wrapped around an action packed martial arts event.

Thank you,
Mark Russo, Bob Leiker and the Amerikick Team
